Vicki,

I have a friend who prolonged her old cat's life by several years by doing

just that---cooking a chicken for her. Sooooo---you're not the only one.

A pair of siblings cats I had once (lived to be aged), named Brother and

Sister (you guess why), who would come out in the kitchen and beg for turkey

while the turkey was just beginning to cook. They waited there until it was

done and they could have some and I'd put packs of turkey stuff in freezer

for them for later too.
