After learning of the side effects I searched for something else to help him when flare ups were only minor. I used Aquafor and a dye free/ fragrance free body butter that was suggested to me by a mom I met that worked great. I have used both of these prodcuts on my daughter as well and have found the body butter works great on the back of her neck where the helmet rubs. I have had such luck with this product I went into direct sales for the company that sells it.
