Just looked at what I wrote Dec. 9 - Should have done so before responding - I still think it is pointless in bashing AA if you really wish to stop drinking, but still do, since it does help a lot of people to abstain, but I have changed my mind about going to meetings - THAT is what is really pointless if I don't believe in the philosophy "as I now understand it" (sorry about that). Hey, hey , hey don't take away my fun. Bashing AA is an extremely

rewarding, exciting and exhilarating experience for me.

Also the statement " since it does help a lot of people to

abstain " is part of the indoctrination of AA. There isn't any truth

to the statement, there aren't any statistics to back that statement, it

is simply AA propaganda that new AA victims are fed everyday. How else

are you going to keep the cult going unless you constantly feed a series

of misinformation and untruths to your followers?
