Guest guest
I have Regence BlueCross BlueShield HMO and we are in the process of fighting the insurance. I was wondering if you can help us figure out what to send into the insurance so the insurance can help pay for the surgery. Thank you, Felicia > > hi everyone just wondering if any of you all have HMO, if so how > long > > did they take to respond, how much did they cover? thanks > > > > elizabethg10
Guest guest
Well, my oral surgeon wanted to make sure he could send in everything he could because he says insurance companies have always given patients a hard time with this kind of surgery. I had a mold of my jaw taken, several xrays, and tons of pictures from all angles to show how the " deformity " of my jaw affects my appearance and the function of the jaw. I think the most important xray...i 'm can't think of the word right now, but it went around my complete head and showed my entire jaw was the most important. Good luck...I hope everything works out for you, the insurance companies are always a pain. They lost all my info and I had to do everything twice so it really was no fun at all. Hope I helped, let me know how things go...Laurie
