Hi Everyone,

A fellow EDSer is thinking about trying prolotherapy. Does anyone have any

information or advice. Has anyone tried it and had favorable/unfavorable

outcomes? Thanks for any help or info.

Hugs,

Sue G.

I've heard good and bad things about prolotherapy. One of our local support

group members had an extensive amount of prolotherapy done last year. At

first she thought it was wonderful and urged everyone to try it. Now,

however, she blames the prolotherapy for making her become diabetic. I have

no idea if the two are remotely related or not, but that's her belief.

There is a huge discussion on prolotherapy at:

http://marge.com/hypermobility/

Some of the headings under prolotherapy at this site include:

" A Prolo Success Story "

" My Prolo Hell. "

" 6 treatments. No real progress. Am I finished? "

" Is feeling pain a good sign? "

" 4 treatments and no relief. "

" Should I trust my prolo doctors? "

" Prolotherapy works "

" Prolo and HMS/EDS "

" Beware "
