You are wise to recognize this. The fact of the matter is that it is NOT true for everyone. It may be true for you. People may have written a book about it because it was true for them. But it isn't true for everyone. It's like saying the only way you can lose weight is with Atkins and ignore potential health problems that some people experience when they go into ketosis during the induction phase, and ignoring the fact that millions of people lose weight with Weight Watchers.
