Vent away! Get it all out of your system! Then you can begin to work on it and

you'll have plenty of help. I'm a newbie to this group, but not to diabetes and

have been where you're at now.

However, that didn't stop me from falling off the wagon, so to speak, and I

just get up and try, try, again!

Sometimes, I ask myself why can't the doctors keep things simple? They throw a

lot of medical jargons at us. I love my current doctor cause he keeps things

short and to the point and is willing to explain to me in laymens terms what he

wants me to do to management my diabetes.

I don't always listen and I like you tend to overeat because I'm overwhelmed

by my disease. Does that make sense? Anyhoo, I'm currently fighting a viral

infection and now I can't even eat what I need or want.

How's that for payback? Sometimes, our bodies will argue as to who's the boss.

So, listen to your doctor and listen to your body.

Take care of yourself and give things a chance to turn around. You have

diabetes it isn't terminal, it's just one more thing to deal with.

You are on the right track and don't worry you'll get the hang of things, you

did the first thing right--that is getting the HELP WANTED sign out there. If

you don't ask you don't receive and the best medicine in the world is

surrounding yourself with people who care and who are willing to point you in

the right direction.

Especially, if they've been where you are now!

Subject: woe is me!

It hasn't been a whole two months since I was told I had diabetes and I

am

ready to just plain give up with all the food logging, carb/cal

counting
