I lost my family doc over this. He refused to see me just to refer me

to a neuorologist because it's a WC case. I told his nurse that I was

willing to pay for the appointment with my family's insurance and the

nurse still wouldn't let me see him. I got upset at the office becasue

I'd just driven 3 hours to see him and the nurse told me I needed to

calm down and take some deep breaths and go to basically the ER to get

a referral. Then I got incredibly angry, scolded and cursed at the

nurse before walking out. 2 weeks later, a certified letter was sent

to my married sisters OLD address, but was for my mother, stating my

doctor would no longer see any of us. He was a great doc, but his

staff was stupid, as you can tell. My parents have lived in the same

house for 23 years... but they sent it to my married sister's old

house. That's why I no longer have a family doc.

I have been through the same thing. I have lost 9 dr in the last 5 years. I tell them what is wrong, they say they can help. When I get there and see him for a couple of months he relizes that he can't help me. Instead of him saying I don't know what to do for you. It makes me mad.

Thank god that there has been one dr that has staid with me for the last 5 years who is my foot dr. So I do know what you are going through. I am know looking for another dr in Michigan if any body knows of someone.
