Got to love it when a Student doctor comes in the room before the doctor does and checks the kid over......NOT! So, Dr. came in finally......at Noon......when the appointment was originally at 10:30am....... He started to check her out, listened to her stomach and asking me questions......and went to check her butt. Then, he asked me if anyone has stuck anything up her butt! I just looked at him and told him straight out that if anyone had, I would have killed them. Then he asked Crystal and she told him no.... So, then he asked me how she sits on the toilet......and I told him that she just sits on it....and he asked if she has a stool under her feet, or, does her butt just hang down into the toilet. By now, I'm trying to figure out what the hell is going on......! He finally decided to tell me, that her butt muscles were too loose....and he was trying to find out how they got that loose......and, he figured out that it was from the way she sat on the toilet and from pooping hard poop, which was also tearing her inside making her bleed. So, he prescribed a powder laxative....it has no taste to it, and I can mix it with any drink, and she has to take it every night at bedtime. Plus, she has to start using a Toddler's Potty Seat that sits on the toilet.....one that doesn't have the cup or anything.... so that her butt doesn't just hang in the toilet..... And, if all of this doesn't stop the bleeding and help her start going to the bathroom normally, then we'll have to start the testing and have the scope done and see what is wrong with her bowels. So, that's the update...... I just hope, Tonia, that things stay simple for Crystal and that she doesn't have to go through anything more.
