Guest guest
Thanks Vitalady, you said it all for me and a bunch of others too. I miss certain people who are not here anymore for various reasons. I especially always think of Tracey. And am glad to see our wild child Felicia back too and Tig also! (I think he was trying to say though, sort of that life goes on and the voids are filled and so it goes...and that is true... there is someone to replace everyone, but just not the SAME EXACT darling, preciously one-of-a-kind kind of someone.) love, ceep In a message dated 1/5/02 6:35:17 AM, Graduate-OSSG writes: << >>>Given the population of this site, there will always be someone to replace each of us as we fall away...if we fall away to offer up news and views<<< No sir, this is not true. I miss the fallen away ones. Each had something special to add, even if it was a dose of insanity! But everyone has their point of view And their unique way of expressing it. And just in case I haven't mentioned it for 5 or 10 minutes, I know I would not be in as good health as I am without the input from said variety of crazies and moderately sane persons hereon! >>

My numerous co-morbidities have disappeared, my health has returned, and I feel great! PS As a family therapist going through this process I was appalled by the widespread lack of good aftercare for the emotional side of this operation. I recently began piloting a unique cognitive behavioral therapy program to help people maximize their outcomes from WLS and improve their long term stability and maintenance. Someday I hope a program like this will be available to anyone who needs additional support. You can check it out on www.myselfdesign.com. Guest guest
I was never gone, I just couldn't type due to that dumb gout. Has anyone heard from Tracey recently? I haven't seen a post in months, but the last time she updated, she seemed to indicate that she was nearing the end As far as staying on the lists, I have become even much more involved since I made it to goal. Strange, huh? I went the other way. If research is right, though, like Docs Wetter and Flanagan say, those who stay involved are the most successful in the long run. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that one > Thanks Vitalady, you said it all for me and a bunch of others too. I miss > certain people who are not here anymore for various reasons.
