Barbara,

That is what I'm hoping for right now.....that she just tore herself a little bit while straining.

But, the possibility of Polyps and Cancer is still in the back of my mind, because that is what her Grandfather started out with...Colon Cancer.

She has a 50/50 chance.

She goes to see her Pediatrician tomorrow morning.....so we'll find out then if she has to go see the Pediatrician-Gastro and have the scope done. If they do have the scope done, they will have to put her to sleep first.....which means that she'll have to go to Children's Hospital and that means no Food or Drink after Midnight, and a 1 1/2 hour drive to the city, and in an area that Gene absolutely HATES to drive in. Plus they totally redid the area.....road construction on the road outside the place, and the hospital has been totally redone since I've been there, so, I'm going to be totally lost just trying to get there again.

Being nervous, trying to get into a hospital a different way that what I'm used to, and having Gene in a pissy mood while driving in an area that he absolutely hates.....equals total stress. And that is before we even get inside the hospital!

Then, they'll give her whatever it is to sleep......then the scope, then wait for an hour after so that they can monitor her as she wakes up.......and then listen to Gene B**ch and go it while trying to drive back out of the place just to get back to an area that he knows where he's at and can get back home. More stress which means that my body will be SCREAMING in murderous pain way before I even get home, which is another 1 1/2 hour drive. All together, it will be a good 6 hour day if not a bit longer. Just the drive will be 3 hours.

Not exactly something that I'll be looking forward to. and I KNOW that Crystal won't like it either....thank GOD that she isn't the type to ask alot of questions like Sami was at her age.....because I won't have to tell her exactly what they will do! With Sami I would have had to.

At least I only have to sit around today and wonder...and worry......and not the whole weekend!

Tonia

You must be going nuts. What a scary situation. I sure hope that it's just from her straining. Barbara

Tonia - I hope that the appointment goes well. I would hope that her chances of polyps or cancer are reduced by her young age. Still, it would be a very difficult thing for her to go through. I'm sure it would very hard for you as her parent who loves her to know that your daughter would have such a tough deal. Keep in touch. Barbara
