Guest guest
Hi all, Well, we have changed from the STARband to the Hanger. We are going to have it made tomorrow am. He has been wearing the STARband since Nov, and it was a constant problem getting him in to be adjusted. Then he grew out of it, was way too small, and they wanted him to keep wearing it even though the ortho said it was too small. Forget it. Monday we took Eli to have his MRI and his botox injection, then seen the neuro afterwards. The botox was a bit scary to watch a needle going into his neck, but hopefully it will help. They have discussed surgery for the tort, so I'm really hoping it works. The neuro said Eli has a bit too much fluid surrounding his brain. His head is quite large, so he said he expected that there would be fluid. He also has the same type of cysts in his head like Jax does, except Jaxson's is right in his brain. Eli has 4, but they said they are quite small. Got a call from the neuros office late yesterday, and I was working, so I'm going to call now to find out what that was about. They figure he'll only have a few more months -- I sure hope this one works. Kim
