Sandy and Carole,

Sandy: I missed your very kind message the first time through... This is not a chain resturant... it is a very popular local resturant which has been in business in the area for at least 18 yrs. In fact I have heard they are in the process of planning and building a large banqueting hall on a street next to several large local churches to facilitate the reception needs of these churches as well as the greater community. So they might be "politically" vunerable to outside criticism. But you are right that a large resturant like this should have trained their staff well. Joan may have hit the nail on the head... he may be a substance user, because I just can't explain or understand his actions. But I am hanging in there and trying to undo the wrong by being very encouraging and supportive of . Thank you!

Carole: Thank you. You remind me of one of my closest friends... you process information very completely and thoroughly, very quickly. My friend is a writer who is a very astute observer of people. I perceive that you are very much this way and because you are, you offer a lot of insight. We have had a lot of support from people who are "new" to . The fly fishing instructor has been very supportive, kind and patient with him.. This has been a very positive experience. And just for fun I took him down to a local RV show and he talked at length with a few manufacturer reps... who were also very supportive and kind. But because of the type of stroke has had, he needs a lot of "instant" positive feedback. So this one incident, is very detrimental to him and we all are having to give him positive reassurance to make up the difference. I am going to reread your comments again and really give them a "good think"... I am one of those people who needs to mull things around for awhile... I don't reach conclusions easily. But once I process this for awhile, I'm sure I will find more valuable information which you have been kind enough to share.
