Thanks so much

We're getting closer to getting comfort for my daughter.

Mine has been a tough challenge though---so far tolerable isn't in the vocabulary. W/C being in the vocab doesn't help either. The doc keeps trying though. He's told me that he won't give up.

Subject: and StaceyHi ,I hope you and Stacey are getting some relief. In several posts it sounds like you are unable to get pain relief to a tolerable level. I hope that has changed for you and your daughter. This is one tough ordeal. I hope to hear some good news soon. With love,Lyn

Raynaud's is a circulatory disorder that you hand and feet are always cold regardless of the temp outside...but during cold weather or rainy weather is gets worse and painful for me. I have been dx with lots of auto-immune disorders since i was 16 yrs old...so for more then half my life now I have had JRA and osteo arthritis..and more and more dx's of auto-immune disorders since then. RSD can also affect the circulatory system...so there is common factors in both RSD and Raynaud's. I have never had warm hands in my life...until RSD started affecting both of my arms and hands...now I have red hot almost burning hands. It's very weird...but better for me in some ways I guess to have warm hands then cold especially now that winter is here. Hugs..Ginnylynlorraine wrote:

Ginny and Cathy, I agree it makes no sense yet somehow there is something that happens that is repeating itself in all of us to start this syndrome. I'm wondering....I don't remember...did you have auto immune disorders before RSD? What is the cause or system disorder involved of Raynard's syndrome? Isn't it in the hands with coldness and loss of blood circulation and very painful? I have had mri's of the head and x-rays but no one has mentioned any abnormality in shaping of it or anything at all. i do have tons of auto-immune dosorders...But I am Dark hair and Dark skin...Mostly Irish..A little Italian...But have more of

a Black Irish look then Italian in most ways. I agree there must be a correlation and predispodistion. I know people who have crushed almost every bone in the body in motorccle accidents that don't get RSD..but with a cervicle sprain i got RSD...Makes no sense at all.
