VERY quick protein question

We have seen a lot of discussion recently about heating protein. I

noticed in the letter received from the protein manufacturer that they

mention extremes in temperature.

Does freezing degradate the protein like heating does? I find that no

matter how cold the water I use, the drink needs to be chilled almost

to slush before it is really good. Then I forget it and it freezes.

I used to do this with fruit juice and it tastes good with protein, too.

From what the manufacturers say, using ice should not degrade it, but freezing

it definitely will. I'm no scientist. I only know what I've read.
