Well, well, well. Medicaid? Food stamps? No daddy? .... AND YOU HAVE

THE INTERNET.... Well, fancy that. See, I have a job, I take care of my

own children... AND etc, etc etc. Your posting was simply one of the most

self-centered bunch of rambling I've seen on here in a long time. Simply

put -- morbid obesity in itself is a medical condition. Sorry if you have

the need to feel that you are more important than everyone else, but my

insurance company didn't see it that way. Also, please direct me to any

posting on this list ever that belittled anyone's need here for surgery; any

posting here that said " I just didn't like my face " . Time for you to go

back into lurk mode; better yet find a better way to use your money and time

away from the internet before you have to re-file for bankruptcy.

have been on disability for 24 months because I had flesh eating bacteria eat

up my left leg. Not because of my weight. When you apply, they run your

application for any and everything and tell you what you are eligible for. I

was told that if I tuned down the food stamps, they could cancel any other

aid that I get because turning down anything to them says " I don't need aid " .

I'd rather NOT get the foodstamps.

And not that it's any OF your freakin business, I guess you have no friends,

so you wouldn't think that MAYBE a friend of mine gave me a screen name on

thier account and use of a computer?! HUMMMM?! Nah you wouldn't think of

that.

As for no daddy.. like I said.. YOU can't read or most def have a ethnic

deficiency like many on this list. But you def didn't read the further

replies..SO LET ME SAY IT HERE FOR YOUR DUMB ASS.... I HAVE NO CHILDREN.

It's amazing how I posted that same exact post on a Black OSSG list and got

support and understanding. On a while one, I just get bullshit and

misunderstanding. And white people wonder why blacks feel that we need a

seperate group (in a lot of things). Hell, just the 'lingo' alone seems to

baffle ya'll.

Hey folks........

I'm thinking that rather getting than getting sucked into a never-ending

argument (as I think this is going to become), that it's time we all move

on. The New Year is just around the corner and I for one, don't want to see

something like this carry on.

The horse is dead..............we done beat it to death...........and I

don't think it really matters if it's a white horse or a black one. We are

here for support and issues of folks who are over one year post-op. This

discussion really has nothing to do with post-op issues.

I do believe Medicaid will pay for anger management programs and

counseling. You're taking your anger out on people who don't have

anything to do with your situation. As for not understanding

your " lingo " then, write more clearly. Very simple, you want to be

understood, you sound like an intelligent person, communicate with

the people you are talking to in a way they will understand. Being

black has not a darn thing to do with it, I know a lot of black

people wouldn't know what the heck you were saying either so race

over the internet is moot. No one can see you, its all the written

word. There is a group called complain/argue where ranting is the

forum. There's no moderating and you can say any and everything that

may be on your mind whether it offends or not.

I hope you can reap the benefits of this list, there are many, these

are people who have experience behind them in the weight loss surgery

experience. It's a place to learn and exchange ideas and it meets

those needs very thoroughly.

A while ago one of the members of this list established a list of

acronyms commonly used on this list and posted it. She did it for

a course she was taking, but it was posted here and I found it quite

useful.

It might be helpful if you created a list of expressions which are

common in the black community, but not in common usage. I

didn't understand several expressions in your original e-mail, but I

just bypassed them.
