Hi ,

Welcome to the group. I was diagnosed as type 2 nearly 2 years ago.

I've lost almost 50 lbs and gotten my glucose readings down into nearly

normal range for the most part, all without meds. I'm hoping to be able

to stay off of them if possible. It truly is a permanent lifestyle

change you have to commit to make to succeed, but even today, I take it

one day at a time.

I have kept a daily journal for about a year and a half now. It's the

only way I can keep track and stay on course. Many people don't have to

use them, but I've found it to be the boost I need to help me monitor my

readings, what foods affect me, that kind of stuff. Here is the website

I downloaded the journal from that I use. I just make a copy of it

every week on my printer.

Best of luck and keep us up to date on how you're doing. This is a

wonderful group filled with a wealth of information and tips to help you

succeed.
