Tricia, I'm not sure on which message you wrote this but it touched

me close to the heart and I wanted to keep it and repeat it and

thank you for it. Thank you for your simple loving words. I

think they have power to heal.

Also, it helps us to compliment one another so that each of our

care, dear friend. Hugs, Tricia

I could agree with your statement more. We are all human, we all

feel, we cry, we laugh and we love. We learn from each other and we

can hopefully teach others as well. I've been taught that we are put

on this Earth to serve a purpose and while we may not know exactly

what that purpose is, we need to treat each new experience as if it

is a lesson to be learned.

We come together in this group to gain support while dealing with

this horrible disorder but we also came to this group to help others.

We can never thank each other enough on here or tell someone how

important they are just for making us smile. So let me take this

moment to say Thank You and I love each and everyone of you!

Hugs

Tricia, sometimes you just let the words flow whether or not they

make sense doesnt always matter so long as the true feeling has been

sent out and the receiver has gotten the message. Im in a rambling

mood tonight, restless and sappy so please forgive me lol!

Hugs to all

vocalize what we all mean to one another, but occassionally I manage

to fumble along. Glad it made you smile.

Thank you so much for your best wishes for my cousin. Right now, he's about 500 miles South of Baghdad, which he refers to as a completely safe zone. But, as you can imagine, we'd all prefer there to be a much wider distance. Hope that when your friend gets back for his R+R the two of you will have a wonderful time. Enjoy your holiday as well, and thank you for the good wishes. Triciajaismonkey@... wrote:

Thanks but I'm used to it, just takes the "holiday spirit" out of me is all. Though, I'm hoping for a small reprieve this year as we've invited my favorite aunt and uncle over for christmas dinner (because their son will be spending the holiday in Iraq) which means my parents will have to be on speaking terms......at least for the dinner, (because we have to keep up appearances and all) so that'll be good. Used to spend the holiday with my best friend and her family and she and her husband would spend the eve with mine, but I no longer fit into her life, so it'll be a harder holiday than usual. But, this too shall pass and things won't be so bad. Have a good one. Tricia

Tricia,

Isn't it amazing how chronic pain and illness can just totally change your life? I think for the most part we all deal with what life has given us pretty good. I thank God everyday for this group because even the best intended person cannot understand what we go through. It is so comforting knowing that I have all of you to lean on because you all have been there done that!! LOL!!!!

I am very happy that you will be spending the holidays with family. I love what you said, "This too shall pass" I tell myself this all of the time. Your Aunt and Uncle's son who is in Iraq is in my prayers. I pray for our soldiers every day. My best friend is there too. He is coming home January 10th for a 10 day R+R. He is staying with me and we are just going to chill on the beach for 10 days until he has to go back. I cant wait!!

Try and enjoy the holidays and I am so happy you get to spend it with a favorite relative. Take care, Love Jai
