Guest guest
Why shouldn't the protein powders be mixed with pineapple or papaya fruit or juice? Does this also go for grapefruit and orange juice as well? Cassandra Message: 9 Date: Thu, 27 Dec 2001 14:31:13 -0500 Subject: Re: Protein Questions? Unfortuntely, yes, if it is hot, you are wrong. Most protein powders can NOT be used hot. Also do not mix them with pineapple or papaya fruit or juice. I wish it were not so because I am really cold most of the time and would love to use them hot. You can use warm tap water, but that's as hot as you can go. Sorry. ----- Original Message ----- From: jswhite0221 Recently I've read a few posts regarding Protein powders. I use a product called Optimum 100% Whey from GNC. People have said NOT to mix these powders with HOT liquids.... but every morning I have a 20oz, skim milk, decaf, latte with sugar free carmel and a scoop of my protein powder. I figure I'm getting almost 30gr of protein in this drink. Am I wrong?
