Jan,

I feel for your sorrow and death of your sister. Time will heal the pain of the loss and you will start to remember the good things and time you had with her. The depression will start to lift in awhile. I found from my experience from losing my father and one brother. The physical problems I had did flare quite extensivly for awhile after. Now I know that depression from the events caused alot of it. So i have to say from my heart hang in there Jan and we and I are all here to support you through this time and life from now on. This may not make much sense but I hope you can take it with the love intended.

Jan, I am so sorry about your sister and know how lonely you must feel. I

haven't written to you before but I have RSD and we all understand the emotional

and physically pain that accompanies our disease. Your sister loved you very

much and would now want you to take care of yourself. We, as your support group,

could never take her place but we can love you and help you through the good and

bad times. We understand pain and all that goes with it. I will keep you in my

prayers and remember you as you make another adjustment to life. If you need

anything feel free to write me. Time will help you heal. I couldn't go to a very

close aunt's funeral and felt so upset but I have made peace with it because I

know how she loved me and would not have wanted me to fly at that time. Your

sister knows you will always have a part of her with you. Try to reflect on the

good times. Remember RSD is one of those diseases that we all must stay aware of

our despression, etc. Your emotions can make the disease worsen. I hope that

this note made sense and helped you in some way. I will remember you each day as

you grief the loss of your sister.

Love ya,

Debbie Ducote (From Louisiana)

for me. My sister Died of Bone cancer in Miami, and she used to call me every

night to find out about my RSD as she lived 300 miles south of me. She was

buried Thursday.

bone cancer. Last Friday night I talked to her from her hospital phone, and said

I loved her. She then went into a coma. They turned off her life support on

the 9th, Tuesday.

something. I am going through a very hard depression from this, and it seems

everyone in my family is passing away. Along with my increasing medical

problems, I know there a lot of you that have similar problems, and it hits

hard. I could not attend my sisters Burial because it was to far to travel for

me.
