Guest guest
Rita brought up a good point. The lbs that i have lost due to the WLS are not " gone forever " and it just grates my nerves when I see people posting that. I had the VBG done in 97 and regained 80+ lbs of 150 lost, so nothing is forever. I had the revision in June of this year and am 10 lbs from my lowest wt from the VBG and hope to get below that. Guest guest
You're right , with the right mind set and all it will work. but " gone forever " sort of implies that we can do anything we want and not gain, that is just not realistic thinking long term, it's gonna be work to keep it gone forever. I think that's all we are saying, there are no guarantees, only what we make of it, the choices we make. hugzzz flo
Guest guest
I can't guarantee the lbs. being " gone forever " (no one can) but if I have that basic attitude I figure half the battle is won. Determination and positive thinking are my biggest allies in this battle. Maybe some find that " cocky " but it works wonders for me! But I back up that attitude with action. Doom and gloom and sitting around waiting for the sky to fall is not my style..... A. in Indy (126 lbs. so far gone forever).... ;-) SRVG(no bypass) April 11,2000 _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
