Hello, and welcome to the group.

I don't know of any helmet provider in or near where you are. Some

time ago on another message board, another parent was also looking for

a helmet in Dubai. At the time, all I could find through internet

searches was a physician who might be familiar with plagiocephaly

treatment. Here is an excerpt of my post, containing the physician

contact info, to the other parent. Please do let us know if you find

out if any helmets are available there... we'd really like to add the

info to our helmet/band database:

" I searched online and found a 2004 Kuwait Plastic Surgery conference

agenda that mentioned plagiocephaly. Here is the link to the

conference (cached page, unfortunately), and Session 8 mentions a

presenter from the USA on Plagiocephaly:

Although the plagiocephaly presenter was from the USA, a co-chairman

(Dr. Al-Basti) for Session 8 is from Qatar. Perhaps he knows if helmet

therapy is available in Qatar. Why don't you try emailing him to see

what he knows as far as helmet availability goes? Here is his position

if you find out if any helmets are available there; some time ago, I

tried to find helmets in Dubai for someone, and came up empty. It

would really help to know where to send people for helmets in your

part of the world! "

Also, is your baby young enough to perhaps benefit from repositioning

if you do not have access to helmets in the UAE?
