No, no Zanna! Only bread in the bread machine! Other things on top of the stove, in the oven or in the slow-cooker. Please don't try to make soup or spaghetti sauce in your bread machine...you'll only give Vicki some very bad ideas and we have to watch that girl with her cooking! ;-) Annette

Zanna... My favorite to cook in my crockpot is BBQ chicken. I make my own BBQ sauce and let the chicken cook all day. Wonderful! Annette

Dawn... Nothing special, just chicken parts in the crockpot with BBQ sauce over it. The sauce I make most often is simple: 1/2 cup catsup; 2 TBSP jarred mustard; 1/2 cup veg. oil; 1/4 cup vinegar; and 1/2 cup maple syrup. Simple but quite good. Annette

Sounds good. I'm going to give it a try this weekend, perhaps. Thanks.

I am making Annette's BBQ sauce in the crock pot with pork chops right now. I just had a taste and it is yummy. My tummy is a little yucky though so I don't know how much I will eat but my hubby will enjoy having a nice home cooked meal!

Pork chops!!! I'm gonna do that next week! Did you have to brown the chops before you put them in the crockpot? Annette

I didn't brown them, I used very thick pork chops so it was like individual little pork roasts, mmmmm.

Zanna

PS I think next time I will brown them though. Sounds like a good idea.
