Guest guest
I make bread, all-day soup, spaghetti sauce, etc., anything that will take most of the day to cook. You can make all that in the bread machine??? Zanna

Guest guest
No, no Zanna! Only bread in the bread machine! Other things on top of the stove, in the oven or in the slow-cooker. Please don't try to make soup or spaghetti sauce in your bread machine...you'll only give Vicki some very bad ideas and we have to watch that girl with her cooking! ;-) Annette -----Original Message-----From: mrsxanadu@... Guest guest
Thanks for clearing that up!! I do like making chili all day in my crock pot. It really isn't that good unless you let it cook all day anyway. Zanna
Guest guest
Zanna... My favorite to cook in my crockpot is BBQ chicken. I make my own BBQ sauce and let the chicken cook all day. Wonderful! Guest guest
Dawn... Nothing special, just chicken parts in the crockpot with BBQ sauce over it. The sauce I make most often is simple: 1/2 cup catsup; 2 TBSP jarred mustard; 1/2 cup veg. oil; 1/4 cup vinegar; and 1/2 cup maple syrup. Simple but quite good. Guest guest
I am making Annette's BBQ sauce in the crock pot with pork chops right now. I just had a taste and it is yummy. My tummy is a little yucky though so I don't know how much I will eat but my hubby will enjoy having a nice home cooked meal! Zanna
Guest guest
Pork chops!!! I'm gonna do that next week! Did you have to brown the chops before you put them in the crockpot? Guest guest
I didn't brown them, I used very thick pork chops so it was like individual little pork roasts, mmmmm. Zanna PS I think next time I will brown them though. Sounds like a good idea.
