Guest guest
Donna That's great. And not sure is Mass is like NC, but while on total comp our state restricts the amount paid....once working any at all, they have to make it equal as though you're working your old numbers of hours and pay rate. I have been offered a position in the patient files dept. The hours are "as tolerated" meaning I can do 2 hrs or 4 hrs or whatever hrs are comfortable for me. So if I'm feeling good one day I can put in longer hrs BUT if Im in pain I can put in just like 2hrs and go home. Also it involves NO patient contact and the heaviest thing I'd be lifting would be a chart which is easy to grasp with my right arm if its too heavy. Im excited about this option as the w/c will pick up hrs that I'm not working AND I will be making the same amount I was making before I left. Im happy as well because with Christmas coming I really need extra cash! So, I just need to get my Dr ok this return and the restrictions clearly outlined. I will call HR tomorrow to get the final results....Dancing the happy dance in MassachusettsDonna
