Guest guest
Hi Dawn So glad you are home and doing better. Take it easy and don't overdo. I still have 2 white circles on my leg where I had cellulitis over 3 yrs ago. They don't hurt or anything.....just there. I know of several people with myositis that have had cellulitis so it must be another of those things we are prone to. Teddi mailto:teddifromok@... Guest guest
My parcel was pretty measely considering what you sent me. I wish I could have sent you more knick-nacks from my neck of the woods, but maybe another time. Aren't those almonds the BEST??? Now you know why I've been talking about them since joining this group. LOL. When I was first dx'd. last year, they were my new best friend, unfortunately. My appetite has come back full-force since starting back on 30 mg. of Pred. and I know I'll have to watch myself or else I'll gain all 17 lbs. back that I lost. It's a no-win situation. If I don't give into the hunger pangs, I'll be miserable and cranky. LOL. Enjoy your hot chocolate and think of me while you're drinking out of your fancy mug. HA! Dawn mrsxanadu@... wrote: > Wow! Guest guest
That doctor sounded interesting. I wouldn't mind just seeing what would happen like you did. I do hope that it makes you feel better. I used to be a sceptic of things like that but if it helps and you feel better, more power to it!! I hope you had fun with the girls. I am sure Emma liked having another one her age around. Zanna

Guest guest
Yes, that's very true. I'm sure she'll understand, but may be a bit hurt that I wasn't all for going this route. She's very sensitive anyway and it doesn't take much to disappoint her. She's kinda funny that way. Anyway, I'm so sorry to hear about that little girl who died of cancer. How very tragic. How are her parents doing now?? Dawn mrsxanadu@... wrote: > Dawn, > Just tell her that at this time, it isn't feasible for you to go to > that guy. I know it's hard. Guest guest
I would be very careful if you ever go back to him. It is one thing to get one complaint but to get a few is another. He may know what he is doing but he still may have done those awful things. Also, it takes a lot for a doctor of MD to lose his liscense (I don't know if the same is true in Canada) but they had to have had a pretty strong case against him to have found him guilty and take away his liscense. Just be careful, I worry..... Zanna

Guest guest
Anyway, I'm so sorry to hear about that little girl who died of cancer. How very tragic. How are her parents doing now?? Jazmin died almost 3 years ago. Her mom is my friend Ann. Ann and the father were never married and he was kind of a jerk. He never came around to help out with Jazmin and when she died he was really overcome with guilt and lost it. Jazmin was a sweetie though. Her mom was asian and dad was hispanic. She looked like a china doll. Absolutely gorgeous. It was very sad. Her and Kylie got along pretty well. Ann dealt with it by shutting it all out. She dyed her hair back to completely black and wore white makeup for awhile (a cultural thing I think). She wouldn't talk about it and kept saying 'may she rest in peace. She didn't shed a tear at the funeral, just kept staring into space. I felt so bad for her. Then her parents kicked her out of their home (she sold her house that she bought for herself and jazmin and moved back in with them when she died) because they said she was 'too sad and needed to move on'. Whatever.....that was only a month after Jazmin died. She stayed in a hotel for awhile by herself, then moved in with two other friends from work. She did a lot better after that but still wouldn't talk about Jazmin. Anyway, Ann married a really nice guy a year and a half ago and seams to be doing really well now. I haven't seen her since about the time of her wedding.. Zanna

Guest guest
Well, that's good that she was able to move on with her life at last and met someone nice. I can't believe her parents kicked her out of their house after only a month! How cruel and heartless. Guest guest
I'm making Annette's chicken for supper and think I'll take your advice and have some white rice and green beans (or frozen peas). That sounds so good!!! I need to make something for dinner tonight and I haven't got a clue as to what! I am lazy today. took Kylie to bus stop and I woke up at 9am and Brody is supposed to be to school at 9am. OOPS. He was 20 minutes late. Good thing it is only 1/2 mile away!! She doesn't usually start class until 9:30 anyway but that takes off my time. I just haven't been able to sleep enough lately. I didn't even stay up all night last night either.....
