Good Morning Tenayahh and everyone else.

****I stopped using Tylenol decades ago because it didn't seem to have

much effect.****

Same here, doesn't stop the pain at all. I was put on Tylenol when I

first got out of the hospital then had to go to stronger stuff.

****So the first time I tried Tylenol, it was a shock. It worked! I

wonder how much is due to the body chemistry changing with the diseases

and the meds?****

My guess, and this is only a guess, that because of the disease, the

meds and our changing body chemistry, things that didn't work on us in

the past are well worth trying again. They might work.

****The other thing I can't use any more is codeine. Tried some cough

syrup when I had bronchitis and I nearly choked to death at night! ****

Codeine makes my ears so sensitive I can hear a pin drop 10 miles away.

Horrible feeling... also, I can hear things inside my pillow if I put my

head down. I tried it again about a year ago and the same thing

happened.

****Glad to hear that the pred might be taking effect and helping with

the

pain.*****

Oh yeah, the pred is doing it's thing once again. I know I'll never

get off it now. The last couple of weeks were horrible for me..... the

pain was so intense it made me sick to my stomach. My fingertips are

still sore but not nearly as much so that's a good sign. Nor do my

hands throb like they did. My neck is easing up but I also think the

Clonazepam has helped a lot in that area. I do however have the

wonderful one sided headache this morning.. with my left eye have vision

problems.

****It's a disappointment not be able to get off entirely, but hey, if a

little helps.****

The dose is small and your right, I was very disappointed in getting

back on it. But, if you weigh the pain that I was in and I was unable

to do anything, against taking the pred....well, you might say .. " I

SAW THE LIGHT! "

****My neighbor took it temporarily and said she kept telling herself it

was the medicine that was hungry, and not her!***

Now THAT'S funny..... I've already noticed a difference in eating... I

get the pangs that just won't go away until something is put in

there.... I'll have to go back on the saltine crackers again.

Hope you made it home alright.... heard you guys up North got hammered

again by this last rain fall. It just sprinkled down here.

Take care,

Vicki
