Guest guest
Here's one document from the conference: http://myositis.org/2002_conference/article_new_directions.htm Update on New Directions in Myositis Research by Dr. Fred See esp. paragraph e. This is a brand new concept to me and very interesting. The Outlook link just goes to the frontpage. Can't access the rest of the newsletter. The SSFoundation does this kind of thing, too. I think it's terrible to restrict access to important medical information! Here's the Conference Reports on Dermatomyositis: http://myositis.org/2002_conference/article_new_directions.htm Skin Problems Experienced by DM Patients This is a slideshow imported from PowerPoint. The first five slides or so are basically an ad for Iowa (if you consider American Gothic a positive enticement!) and the university dept of rheumatology. Slide 7 shows a collection of photos of DM skin changes. Then each slide is shown enlarged. These photos could be very helpful for those with DM to identify the different kinds of rashes. Sure would be nice if MAA posted more documents from the conference for those who were unable to attend.
