Guest guest
Hi Zanna... *****I will probably still have the dinner because it is easy to do and hubby and Kylie can handle it.***** Well that's the good part.... let them handle it and you rest. ****I am only worried about the house getting clean seeing as how his parents are clean fanatics.***** I've got a cure for that also... have Kylie meet them at the door with a broom and vacuum cleaner in hand and she can give it to them as they enter. You have to remember Zanna that YOUR the sick one and you need to rest. If the house is not up to there standards, well both of them were born with two arms and two legs... put them to work! I can honestly say that by not being married any more I have rid myself of that guilt feeling when I couldn't get something done in time. As I got sicker, I stopped having people over because I felt my house wasn't clean enough... now looking back, you could have eaten off my floors (that's if you got there before the dogs did) Just don't fret over it girl... you have more than enough to worry about. Take care, Vicki
Guest guest
Zanna, I'm with you all the way on supporting Brody doing his art his own way. I know too many people, including me, who were intimidated and inhibited in expressing their creativity artistically due to harmful, critical comments. The critic thought he was being helpful when in fact he was destroying the young artist's confidence and joy in creative expression. As for in-laws and cleaning, my MIL thought she was being helpful by cleaning out my entire (small) kitchen when she came to stay at the birth of our first son. Unbeknownst to me a mouse had set up residence in the far back of the cupboard where I didn't have a prayer of reaching at 9 mo pregnant. (It must have been a cousin of the one who went swimming in the washer!) My MIL found a horrible mess. And boy was it embarrassing! OTOH she wasn't invited to turn the kitchen inside out! I've promised myself to be a supportive MIL when the time comes. My tongue may be sore from biting it! But it's worth the family harmony. Good plan to get the whole family involved and for =everyone= to know the extent of your pain and discomfort. Tenayahh
