Needing some tips/advice

Hello group,

I could some practical advice or tips on how to deal with my " baggy eye "

problem.

During my first bout with CU, my eyes swelled up to huge proportions. My face in

general was very swollen but my eyes looked like they belonged on a bullfrog -

not on a human. Over time, taking my daily cocktail and staying on the no/low

histamine diet has worked wonders at keeping the hives and other symptoms

managable.

However, the soft tissue under my eyes, especially my left eye, has not returned

to normal. It is saggy, baggy, and puffy. It looks awful! I can feel it hanging

- I can even see it without looking in the mirror.

After all I have been through with the hives, angiodema, stomach cramps, bone

aches, etc. this seems like such a small thing, however, I feel that it makes me

look like I am ill - that perpetual tired, saggy, baggey eye look that people

equate with illness. Everytime I look in the mirror I look so disfigured that I

hardly recognize myself.

Does anyone have any tip, solution, advice, etc. on how to get the swelling to

go down? I am hesitant to put creams on that part of the eye since it is so

sensitive and I don't want to make it any worse.

Tea bags of various sorts are used for puffy eyes but tea is a no-no on the

diet. Does that mean externally too do you think?

Any advice would be helpful. I appreciate everyone in this group and depend

daily on the information that comes out of the various discussions.
