The beaches here are not to swim in just to relax on. Hoping you wonderful beach days...Hugs..Ginny Hi Ginny, Sounds nice! Wow, 20 foot high waves that must be wild. We get some waves during the hurricanes but not like that!! How come you cant swim in the water? In the summer here the gulf temp gets up in the mid 90's not to refreshing to say the least. In the winter it goes down to the 70's. The beaches are beautiful in the winter but the water is too cold. You can always tell the tourists because they are the ones in the water. But I guess if you are coming from 20 degrees below zero to the 80's it probably feels pretty damn good!! Take care, let us know what is going on with your eyes. You are in my prayers. Guest guest
Jai, My eyes are still the same...had a humphey field test done and pics of my optic nerve taken...haven't heard any news on what it showed though as of yet. We don't swim because the water gets up to maybe 65 degrees tops in the summer and can actually freeze in the winter in some places. If your water is 70 in the winter it's still warmer then ours in the peak of summer...lol...that's why people are swimming in it...lol. The Waves are beautiful to look at but wouldn't want to be on a boat during storms here. Alot of winters homes get ruined if big storms come in...and if we are hit by the remnants of hurricanes we get to watch the huge waves roll in. Sounds beautiful where you live..wouldn't mind living there. Hope all is well with you...Hugs..Ginny Hi Ginny, Sounds nice! Wow, 20 foot high waves that must be wild.
