Guest guest
Joya, A " Pampered Chef " is similar to " new age " Tupperware. It is a bunch of really neat gadgets designed to make your life easier in the kitchen. They sell baking stones, cookie stuff, cheese graters and basically everything that a cooking aficionado could want or need. It is kind of expensive, and you can buy virtually everything you like on ebay a lot cheaper. The main point is the same as Avon, Amway, etc. They try to get a certain amount of people under them selling the same thing and having " parties " at their houses to sell the stuff and try to recruit new salespeople. I bought a garlic press. I was going to buy one anyway and this one was $20, but I drank all that wine (of my friends, not the one that was actually giving the party), and I felt a little obligated because of my slight inebriation to buy SOMETHING. Luckily, every single person that was there I've known forever and they know what I am going through. I think they thought that I needed a little break. I think they were right. I've decided to take another little break in about 2 weeks (trying to find substitute child-care provider) and have a little R & R. Lo-carb, but maybe a little wine. It was so fun!!!! God, do I take a long time to answer questions, or what? Thanks.
