Guest guest
I don't know what I'd do without mine! Especially in winter with ice in the parking lots or if I have to walk any distance. Though, I did have someone leave a note on my car at the grocery store saying " This spot (disabled parking) is for disabled people, not fat women. " Guess I must have looked OK that day, if you count fat, as OK. Ignorance is bliss.... smginleyrn@... wrote: In a message dated 1/25/04 7:05:26 PM Eastern Standard Time, pmelcher@... writes: << I don't use it all the time - it depends on how I feel. Guest guest
> Who made her the 'handicap tag' officer? > Sounds like that person is terminally ignorant!! This goes right back to what I said last month about hidden disabilities and the need for people to be made aware that one's ability has NOTHING to do with his or her appearance or gait. -Barb
