I have a lot of difficulty walking and this cold weather is killing me with

I don't know what I'd do without mine! Especially in winter with ice in the

parking lots or if I have to walk any distance. Though, I did have someone

leave a note on my car at the grocery store saying " This spot (disabled

parking) is for disabled people, not fat women. " Guess I must have looked OK

that day, if you count fat, as OK. Ignorance is bliss....

This goes right back to what I said last month about hidden disabilities and

the need for people to be made aware that one's ability has NOTHING to do

with his or her appearance or gait.
