Guest guest Posted January 22, 2004 Report Share Posted January 22, 2004 I am really really bummed right now. I just got a denial letter from SSD. Again. This is my 2nd denial. I was told by the case manager that this would be before an administrative law judge, but it was NOT!!! It was a decision written by a regional commissioner. I immediately called the local SSD office and they said it could take anywhere from 6 months to a year to get before an ALJ. What has been other's experience with this? It's already been a year and a half since I quite working and I applied a year ago in January for SSD. The letter states that my condition is not severe enough to keep me from working.
