Guest guest
Hi all - Just a quick note that I found interesting - today at our ortho apt, the ortho for fun measured my husband and I with calipers since of course we don't fit in the starscanner. He is 77% and I am 79%....I have always thought my husband would score like 70% by how long/narrow his head looks to me, and it was reassuring since I thought we'd both come in much lower since we were tummy sleeping babies. Our son is still 84-85% range, but we're hoping for continued progress- at least some. I'd be super curious to any of you adults who have measured their CRs what they really are. Somehow I think a lot of us are not the magic 78%.
Guest guest
My husband measured the 'perfect' 78%, but my mom and I measured in at a low, low, 69-70%. Not surprising since we were both side sleepers. I figure since I went through life without ever knowing I had anything 'wrong' with my head, if my son winds up with a CR a few % above the norm I'm not going to worry in the least. He was 87% at the least measurement a few months ago, but I swear he's had a growth spurt, so it's probably/hopefully a few % lower by now.
