Guest guest
Dawn - I actually have three dogs, though the oldest lives with my parents (which isn't that far, cause I live in an apartment over their garage.) Spencer, the one who lives with them is a shetland sheepdog, most people refer to them as miniature collies, he's 9. Skylar, the middle dog, is a little bit of everything: reddish brown coloring of a chow-chow, with the body and ears of a golden retriever, and the black face mask of a german shepherd, she's 7. is a 3 year old Great Pyrenees, so because Holly has Newfoundland in her I would imagine they look similar, except is all white. We had a tuxedo cat, named Chaplin (mom thought her little black mustache reminded her of Charlie Chaplin) we called her Chapie, she was 17. Last Monday on my mom's birthday, we found out that she had cancer and we had to put her to sleep, which was rough on all of us.....especially mom, and for some reason who was apparently more emotionally attached to the cat then the other two dogs who'd lived with her longer. Now, because of 's size (she's 136lbs) and unpredictable playing spurts, we just think it would be unfair to a kitten to bring it into this environment. Chapie spent her whole life thinking she was a dog, so she was okay.....but then again, she was here before , so she'd already staked her territory out. I know how you feel, though. Skylar and Spencer are really my parents dogs, though Skylar has gradually moved in with me; and she and are my children. I'm ultra protective of them and just think they are the best things ever, I love them so much. The Scooby snacks were a big hit here, too.....though their absolute favorite thing is the duplex cookies they sell at the Petco pet bar.....all three of the dogs will do anything you ask of them for one of those Hope you're having a good night and that you'll be able to get some rest this evening. I've decided that you fall into my "local area" so that I can drive to your house when I'm alert....or is that when I'm a lert? Golly, this is confusing. I loved meeting the dogs. They really made me miss not having one. Maybe next time I should bring them each a goody so that they will fall in love with me. Now as for the that colored pencil set.....I keep thinking about it and I just have to have it. It would be a totally frivolous purchase but I want them. Maybe someday. Re your driving.....remember to stay away from Dr. CaresOnlyAbout HisAss or your chance of ever making it out to my neck of the woods will fade into oblivion. I'll look frwward to the Tour of Denial. Just bring those pencils with ya next time, so you can add a little "color" to the experience For my part, I'll work on winning doc over to my way of thinking about the temporary meds, blackmail my body into some cooperation and see if I can't get back into a car and out your way, to help with the distraction every now and then.
