Guest guest
Hi Jen T, welcome here! As to your question: during my time with the group (more than two years) we discussed the question of pregnancy with scarring a couple of times, also with doctors. The overall idea is that no more than 5% of your uterus should be scarred. If there is more, there is a high risk of m/c in the second trimester (and we have unfortunately come to know these stories, too). I would think that it is a good idea to see an A-list doc who can decide (via a diagnostic hyst) whether it is worth it to try to take it away or not. I am sure that these specialists wouldn´t attempt a correction if not necessary. Scarring at the fundus or at the tubes is more difficult to remove than at the cervix or side walls. Another reason not to allow your " normal " doc to perform any surgery. My two cents, Corinna
