Hi everyone. I had my surgery (open RNY) on june 12th at s

hopkins in Baltimore. Had a few problems, scar tissue from an old

surgery and gall stones but my doctor took care of all that. I was

released Monday the 16th, feeling better everyday. My staples are

itchy but other than that I'm doing well. I don't get my staples out

till july 2nd , because I'm diabetic and it takes me longer to heal.

I haven't weighed myself but I feel much lighter :) and my clothes

are looser.

I just wanted to thank all of you for your help in answering my

questions. It made it alot easier knowing exactly what to expect. If

there's any help I can give to anyone please don't hesitate to ask.

The people on this website are wonderful and I feel that we are all

kindred spirits. You guys have been a blessing.......

God bless you all

What a precious treasure you are and so joyful to boot LOL. I am so happy to

hear that your surgery went well and you are back at home and in such good

spirits it is a blessing to read :) You keep up the good work and do what your

surgeon has instructed and take it easy and get plenty of rest and do your

walking around the house to keep healthy and strong and take care.
