He ended his rant by saying that " obviously I had mistaken him for someone who gave a sh--! " Not true, I hadn't seen him as caring at all. If he decides to weigh in again about the perfidious way I have behaved toward Yahoo, I might consider talking to Rick about it. At the moment I feel I have it under control. My purpose in mentioning his email in the first place, was in case he was flaming anyone else. Fortunately for me, I am nowhere near as depressed as I was several months ago. If he had hit me then, when I was feeling my worst, it would have upset me. I value the people on this list. I don't want anyone to feel that they are alone and at the mercy of some wacko. If someone flames me, then I'll take appropriate action. That may be just setting my filters so their email goes straight into the trash bin, it may involve the moderator of the list...who knows?...but I doubt that anyone but the most novice Internet Email List person would feel helpless just because they were flamed.
