Guest guest
Hi everyone! I just received a call from my surgeon's office and was told that they are not on my insurance plan and that I would have to pay $3,000 out of pocket to them! I thought I got the whole process underway and now a setback (one of many I'm sure). I found Drs. Rosenthal and Szomstein in Weston, Florida, who are on my plan and now have to attend another lecture Tuesday morning. Was advised that after I attended the lecture, I could make an appt. with the surgeon if I so chose to. Here we go again! I've wasted 2 weeks for nothing! I know I'm impatient because now that I've made up my mind, I just want everything to go quickly. Oh, by the way, I was also told that with my insurance, Neighborhood Health Partnership, I would need a letter documenting my weight loss attempt at a facility such as Craig, Weight Watchers, Nutritionist, etc. Has anyone done this? I have been a member of WW more times than I care to admit! It seems as though this may be difficult to get from them! Any advice????? Guest guest
Rosemary, Do you have any receipts from WW? Perhaps you can call their corporate office and request a letter saying when you were a member?
