Guest guest Posted January 26, 2006 Report Share Posted January 26, 2006 I have been taking Avandia for 12 days now and there is no difference in my fasting glucose readings (mid 250's). How long is it supposed to take? The Dr. never said. I have another appt. on Friday, but I thought I'd ask for some experiences. I am going to ask for metformin I guess, even though my innards didn't like it much in the past. Hi Kim, My mom is taking avandamet and she had no problem with that. You may want to ask your doctor about this.
