Guest guest
Hi Jan, Glad to hear back from you. You are from Lebanon (off of 44) and now live in Arnold MO. I found it on the map and put a pin with your name there! This is a new fun project I am working on glad you are here with us. I, also need to write my bio to post for the group .just haven't done it yet. (go to post # 46288 I'll start with .) The short short version is RSD resulting from horse accident in 1994. Compound fracture of left ankle and nerve damage. Six years of misery and pain and then a complete remission of RSD symptoms! Truly amazing to everyone including me. Reason for remission is a mystery. Then about two weeks ago RSD awakened again. You can imagine my reaction. Pain, fear no terror at the prospect. My best guess is the repetitive stress of increasing my exercise caused it. I'd be glad to tell you more and I have questions for you, too. Watch for my email. I am 54 (young) and live with my darling (even younger) in Central Oregon. We are not married either. is new to this RSD business and I hope he has the stomach for it. Right now it is so new that we are trying to make the necessary adjustments. I have one married son living in Washington and I have family in California. You mentioned your older sister Anita having RSD, also. Have you any statistics on RSD running in a family? Seems I've seen reference a few times in the posts about family members also having RSD. I wonder if anyone has done a study on that. Please, anyone jump in here if you have any thoughts about this. What are you doing for pain relief these days? My bum and the leg attached is starting to scream for attention so I'll have to take a rest. Again, I'll say I'm glad you joined in and I hope to learn more about you and share experiences.
