Can you tell me what you weighed when you started etc, if you don't mind? Was it all that you thought it would be? I've been hearing a lot about the procedure, and was just curious to get more info from a real person, not the media. . . I even fudged back then on my weight because I was so embarrased lol. RE: 48 hours/Lyssa Well I was 110 lbs overweight and met the criteria set out by the National Health Institute and my insurance co to qualify for the surgery. I weighed roughly 240 lbs maybe a bit more on the day of the surgery as I had alot of " last " meals (at least I thought they would be my last meals lol). I didn't get weighed the day of surgery so I never knew exactly what I went in at. That said I know people who have had it done at 500, 600 lbs ... there is a big range (no pun intended). I felt at the time if I didn't have it done then one day I'd be up to 300, 350, etc etc so figured while I was still in relatively good health I would try to get it done and get back my life.
