Guest guest
but I have baffled many a med students. ------------------- I know what you mean. When I was in massage school, the instructor was talking about proper support for the client's knees when lifting the legs for draping or work. I deliberately volunteered to be the demo subject. Of course, you have to understand that my knees are particularly hypermobile in that they can bend backwards. I was on the table, on my back. The instructor took my right foot and started lifting my leg. The leg from the knee to the ankle lifted nicely off the table. The leg from the knee to the hip stayed flat on the table. It was all I could to keep from laughing out loud when I heard one of my classmates gasp and say " Oh my god! " On the other hand, that was no where near as rotten as the stunt I pulled in P.E. class in grade school. I don't even remember the activity. All I can remember is that I was on the bottom of the pile. After I crawled out from under everybody else, I stood up, turned my right foot in 90 degrees, bent my leg backwards and then let out this horrible bellow " It's broken! It's broken! " And that allowed to sit out the rest of the class on the sidelines. Unfortunately, that stunt only worked one time.
Guest guest
lol! I told my son about this, and he thought the same thing as those med students! " Why would they take his achilles tendon out to fix his shoulder? Now he won't be able to walk! " He said.
