Re: 's Starband is supposed to be blue, but it looks purple!

Our ortho happened to warn us that the current blue option for the

Starband ends up looking purplish - luckily they'd already had a few

ordered and noticed that, so I think that's just the deal with this

color. We ended up going all white for that reason. Maybe you can

really dress it up with boy stickers so it doesn't seem purple? There

are SO many cute stickers out there! We have a racing helmet theme on

ours. I think there are a lot of people here who could send sticker

links, but I found a lot of cute ones at s even.

LOL! We have the same issue! We ordered Finn's Starband in the royal

blue and it is really purple! We call him the " blueberry boy " when he

wears it! But we've had it now for 3 months so we've gotten used to

the color.

That's weird! When we looked at the Becker colors, they brought in

samples and their " blue " was purple!! So, I asked about it and the

guy thought it looked blue to him, hubby thought it did sort of too,

but I think he's color blind! Anyway, based on that, we chose a

different style helmet and it was more a royal blue. Watch we get it

today and it's tourquois....LOL

That is too funny. We had the EXACT same issue. We ordered a blue

STARband, and it looked blue in the dr's office, but when we got

home, it seemed more purple. In pics it looks blue, but in person,

purple. Must be something to do with STARbands. Doesn't really

bother us...as long as it works!!
