I was to have my surgery in January but now it won't happen until two more audiologists are hired at the clinic I will be going to. Tell everyone to become an audiologist....there is a shortage of them. Anyway, I will be the first one to know when the CI surgery resumes where I will have surgery. Because of that my husband and I are taking a trip and not sit around waiting. If I don't have surgery by April then I will postpone it until August so we can have two of our grandchildren spend their annual three week vacation with us. Bottom line, I will have my surgery this year but just don't know when. Whenever it happens it will be the " perfect time " . I am happy you at least know the months your surgery could take place! I am so excited. > congratulations! do you have a copy of any communication you had with your insurance company? i am helping my friend try to get approval and would welcome any suggestions/templates for letters?!
