While dong a search on the Net just now I came across a VERY

interesting site indead (if I am reading it and understanding it

correctly) it is on the gene mapping of EDS III (H-EDS) and it is

complete.....

The site can be found at http://www.bork.embl-

heidelberg.de/g2d/exam_disease.pl?016 and PLEASE if anyone knows what

this is about and if it is correct or can be used to correctly

diagnosed EDSIII or can read this site correctly, then PLEASE let my

know as I am very interested. I do have a biology background (I

studied Microbiology and biochemistry at Uni for 1 year as well as

Anatomy and Physiology etc) but some of this is above my head, but

from the cursory look I have had so far, it seems very interesting

indeed.

It looks like with a FULL DNA test EDS could infact be correctly

diagnosed in individuals????

I clicked the link and it just put me to a search section with who

knows how many pages (I know of over 30). At any rate, I am having

trouble trying to find the specific link to the article. Any

further help you can give me on finding it?

for some reason it won't recognise the 2nd part of the link

heidelberg.de/g2d/exam_disease.pl?016 as part of the link so if you

click i=on the first part (the blue http://www.bork.embl- part)remove

the / at the end when it comes up with the Cannot find server page

and paste int he 2nd heidelberg.de/g2d/exam_disease.pl?016 part at

the end it goes to the page. Or you can open a new browser page and

copy in the 1st part and then copy the second part onto the end in a

second step and then enter or go it will go to the page. Or just

search using the title I gave in a search engine.

(by the way I use Google Australia)

The link will not display the entire address if you have a look you

will see the rest of the link on the next line and it is NOT

highlighted so you will need to cut and past the ENTIRE address into

the address bar at the top of your web browser. ALL of the below line

from http to.pl?016....

http://www.bork.embl-heidelberg.de/g2d/exam_disease.pl?016

There will be more info on this topic at the conference this summer!!!!!!!!

There will be four researchers from the Collagen Diagnositics lab at the

conference this summer, and they will be talking about the " new mutation " that

has

been discovered, plus many other really, really interesting topics! I am

really excited to be on the planning committee and can't wait until this summer.
