Guest guest Posted January 19, 2004 Report Share Posted January 19, 2004 Digest is easier to read for those who have mail volume issues, but please observe the following when replying to mail from a digest: 1. Always change the subject line. When you reply to a post within the digest and click 'reply to' to respond, the message title will be 'Re: Digest Number 2175' or the like - the problem with that is, folks who get the individual e-mails will not know what the subject is and may then simply delete it. Please, if you are responding to a post within a digest, change the subject title to reflect the pos that you are responding to so that the person you are trying to reach will see you as well. 2. If you are responding to a post in a digest, please completely delete the posts within it that may be included in your reply. When you hit 'reply to' the entire digest will be there included in your reply - no one wants to get several copies of the digest within a digest, so please remove all other posts in the digest.
