Guest guest
I have to say that I agree with Jane about the " contacts " issue. I am more than willing to discuss anything about the surgery with anyone, but please contact me personally and do not put out a blanket message " I need contacts " . I needed 10 contacts also. I very politely e-mailed individuals and asked if they could help. When they said yes (they all did), I then sent them each different questions. Most of these people I had seen post on the list, so I tailored the questions for each based on what I already knew about that person's experience. It was so easy and everyone was so helpful. I am sure that taking a message off the list and using it as your " contact " really goes against the spirit of patient education. My postop nurse said that Dr. Rutledge's patients are the most well educated patients she has taken care of. Foshee MGB 4/18/
