Guest guest Posted June 16, 2001 Report Share Posted June 16, 2001 For what it's worth. I had hyperpigmentation from Metrogel. My derm wasn't suprised. He knew this to be a fairly common reaction. Birth control pills can also cause hyperpigmentation. Maybe women on the pill are more prone to hyperpigmentation when the skin is traumatized, even a little...
