After wearing the DOC band for a little over 8 weeks, Katelyn is graduating tomorrow..any advice? I am so scared of regression....what can I do to prevent it? We are getting an exit mold done as well but any advice would be great

Congrats Katelyn and Becky!! I can't wait to see before and after pics if you have any. I have been told that regression is rare but like you I also worry that when my DD gets her band off that she will regress. I am not sure what to tell you besides just try to make sure that she isn't putting a lot of pressure on any one part of her head. I'm sure that doesn't really help you but that's all I know to do.

CONGRATULATIONS KATELYN

YOU ARE A DOC GRAD!

Try not to obsess over it too much - I know easier said than done. Does she have torticollis? If so continue stretches and/or PT. If not just keep an eye on her positioning. Do some slight repo for the next couple of months. Get the exit headsicle sent to your hosue (or pick it up at the office if you live close). This will give you great peice of mind as the months pass. Regression is extremely rare, less than 1%.
